ARTWORK in all different shapes and sizes will fill the rooms and halls at this year's Yanco Agricultural High School art and photography exhibition.
Hosted by the school's P&C Association, this year's exhibition opens tonight and will be open all day tomorrow, featuring entries from artists across the region, as well as student works.
This year there is about 100 entries from artists in the region as well as about 150 entries from students.
Under the guidance of curator and visual arts teacher Marie Partridge, students have been working to set up the exhibition this week.
Miss Partridge said preparations for the annual event were going well.
"Preparations have been going well all week," she said.
"We are very pleased with the amount of entries this year because we thought we might have gotten less than in previous years because the show is earlier in the term.
"We are also very happy with the quality of the entries that have been sent in."
This year will also see a sculptural category established as part of the art show.
Miss Partridge was hopeful the exhibition would be well supported.
"We would encourage everyone to come out and have a look around," she said.
"We have some really great pieces this year so residents should take advantage of this opportunity.
"The art show is usually a popular event in the community."
All money raised as part of the art show goes directly back into the school.
The YAHS art and photography exhibition will be held upstairs in McCaughey House, with the official opening tonight from 8pm (entry $10).
The exhibition will also be open tomorrow.
