This is the first time The Irrigator has won a Fairfax Media Regional Publishing award.

The award was present to Irrigator manager Felicity Nolen at the 2009 Fairfax Media Sales Conference last Friday night at the Sydney Convention Centre.

Ms Nolen was pleased with the award.

"Not only is it an honour to be recognised as producing the best display advertisement out of every Fairfax Media regional non-daily newspaper in the Australia, it confirms our committment to our clients," she said.

"We want to produce the best creative solutions so businesses can connect with their customers in the best possible way to help increase sales and maximise results.

"This is especially important given the current economic climate we are all challenged by."
