THE second Yanco Lions Club community garage sale for charity is ready for the first people to come through the doors tomorrow morning.
To be held at Yanco Hall tomorrow and Sunday, the garage sale will raise money for the Leeton VRA rescue squad.
Auction co-ordinator Sue Parker said there is plenty of goods to choose from, all donated by the public.
"The public has been excellent," she said. "Some people have donated twice over.
"We have got a full hall. We've filled the hall again and we are waiting for more items from people.
"It is probably going to be bigger than last year."
Items for sale range from caneware and glassware to household items and electrical items, such as heaters.
"There is a dryer, washing machine, TVs, furniture, lamps and baggage," Miss Parker said.
"We've got something for everyone.
"If you're looking to pick up things at a cheap price, you can furnish a flat in a day."
Miss Parker has high expectations for the event
"We're expecting a really good response from the public," she said.
"We expect a really big outcome. There is huge interest form the public wanting to know what we've got.
"I expect a real good couple of days."
Any left over items will be donated to the Salvation Army.
The Yanco Lions Club community garage sale will be held at Yanco Hall from 8am to 2pm both tomorrow and on Sunday.
