IT WAS all about pampering and relaxation on a rainy afternoon last Sunday.
SunRice Festival Ambassador Quest entrant Eliza Herbert held a pamper day on Sunday afternoon that was part of International Women's Day.
The afternoon included a fashion parade, facials, foot spas and manicures and pedicures.
"It was a really good afternoon," Miss Herbert said.
"I think the rain deterred a few people, but we still had about 30 people there, which was a good response.
"Those that were there had a lovely day and enjoyed being pampered."
Representatives from the Body Shop and cosmetics company Mary Kay were also at the pamper day offering beauty tips and tricks.
International Women's Day has been held since the early 1900s.
It is celebrated each year on March 8, with this year's theme being Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities: Progress for All.
Miss Herbert is supported by her committee, the Leeton Chamber of Commerce and has chosen the MS Society as her charity.
This was the final event Miss Herbert has planned as part of the quest, with Easter fast approaching.
"I've still got a Krispy Kreme donut fundraiser happening as well as raffles," she said.
"The community has been really supportive of my events."
