LEETON will travel to West Wyalong on Sunday in search of its first victory in the Creet Cup.
The Wolves narrowly lost the opening match of the competition to the Griffith under 17s, with a thrown-together mix of youth after more experienced players were either unavailable or called up to senior representative duties.
Meanwhile, West Wyalong met Lake Cargelligo in the first round and could only manage 154 against the home side's 191.
Leeton captain Brent Lawrence said the home side should be a good challenge for another young Wolves team.
"From what I've heard they should have their full-strength line-up available," he said.
"I'll be expecting them to be pretty solid.
"We've got a pretty young team. It's great to give them some representative experience and develop their game.
"It's a fairly well-balanced team and I'm 99 per cent sure everyone is available."
In the same game last year, Leeton won by just a run in a nail-biter.
Against the Griffith under 17s, the top order fired, but no-one produced a big score like the opposition's Haydn Pascoe, who scored a century.
"We need a few of the more experienced players like myself and Dan Davies and even Kyle Tuckett, who's only 20 or 21, to step up and let the young fellas bat around them," Lawrence said.
"Last round the first seven made starts, but no one went on and made a big score."
