The future of Carramar is a case in point.

However, I am not so confident that retaining government ownership will mean the facility will continue as it is into the future.

It is not that I think private ownership is better, but, for me, the concerns of the people as to what will happen under private ownership should also be applied to government operations.

There is no guarantee the current government is ever going to listen to the people and they appear to have no intention of retaining control of Carramar.

If they have a mind to, I'm afraid the government would ensure it is rid of it one way or another.
