The announcement was made in conjunction with International Women's Day, which was held on Friday.
The scholarships are awarded in two categories to women of Aboriginal ad Torres Strait Islander heritage and to women working part-time.
Mrs Sayer-Roberts was awarded the scholarship in the working part-time category for her role in managing Sauce, which is a Leeton-based public relations company.
She will participate in the Women in Leadership program at the University of NSW (AGSM), with the scholarship valued at more than $14,000.
"As the owner of a growing and successful regional business, I'm thoroughly looking forward to the personal and professional growth opportunities the scholarship will offer," Mrs Sayer-Roberts said.
"Highlights of the program will be connecting with fellow businesswomen, enhancing my leadership skills and being able to implement what I've learned in my own business, as well as to the benefit of the organisations and communities that we partner with across regional Australia."
As part of the six-month program, Mrs Sayer-Roberts will attend four residential modules at UNSW and have access to one-on-one executive coaching.
She will also have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of Australia's leading businesswomen.
The program will commence in May.
