The building is located in Parkview and has stood the test of time since its construction in 1961.
However, the Leeton Jehovah's Witness organisation believes it is now time for a facelift.
Work to demolish the building will begin shortly, according to co-ordinator Nathan Zammit.
"We'll start the first phase on (Saturday), which will be getting everything out before it's taken down," he said.
"Then it will really start to take off after that.
"Once the new hall is completed it will face the other way and will be a little bigger than what it is now."
The hall will also include a library and will continue to provide a place for the Jehovah's Witness community to gather and worship.
Work to construct the new building is all thanks to voluntary assistance from across the state.
"That's what is really unique about this process," Mr Zammit said.
"All of the labour is divided into professions like carpentery, plastering and plumbing.
"The volunteers will come from all over at their own cost, with the parish to help with their accommodation to offset some of the cost.
"We are a close-knit community and we are proud of our unity."
Between 70 and 100 people could turn out to construct the new building, which it is hoped will be completed in June.
The garden area out the front of the hall will also be given a makeover.
"We pride ourselves on our place of worship, so everyone is excited about this," Mr Zammit said.
"We're going to keep in in tune with the rest of the neighbourhood and our neighbours are all very pleased for us."
The development was given approval by Leeton Shire Council.
