LEETON could be home to the next Casey Stoner after Kruse Brady tore up the track at the recent Australian Junior Dirt Track championships in West Wyalong.
Kruze won the 9 to 11 years 65cc class and finished third in the 85cc division competing against some of the best riders in the country.
He's been riding since he was four years old with his older brother Jack, and sees how Stoner went from a junior dirt bike champion, to a world champion in the MotoGP as a possibility for him as well, but for now he is more worried about having "fun on the bike".
Coming into the finals Kruse had qualified in second place in the 65cc and third in the 85cc before getting a dream run in the 65cc final.
"He had a great start and lead all of way," father Matt Brady said of the 65cc final.
"He probably won by about 25 metres in the end."
Kruse's favourite class is the 65cc because "I can control and hold the bike better".
Kruse's performances were an improvement on his stellar effort's from last year when he finished second in the 7 to 9 years class and ninth in the 85cc.
The youngster has already set his sights on the NSW titles next month.
Harvey Meline also represented Leeton at the titles, finishing 10th in the 80cc class for riders aged 10 to 14 years.
"It was a great experience for him, with a lot of great competition for him and it was a good weekend alround," father Phillip Meline said.
