Miss Kennedy organised a Little Big Day Out for the younger demographic, with participants coming from across the region.
The event was Miss Kennedy's fifth as part of the Ambassador Quest, with two more major events planned before the Easter long weekend.
"It was a fantastic day," she said.
"There were over 100 people there and I had a lot of positive comments on the day.
"A lot of people were saying they would like to see it happen again, so we've already started to plan one for 2015.
"It won't be anything to do with the Ambassador Quest, but more of a fund-raiser for the early learning centre."
Little Big Day Out included many activities, with all emergency services from the shire bringing in their cars, trucks and vans to show off to the children.
There were dance classes, face painting, stallholders, a DJ and rides on the Lions train and merry-go-round.
As part of the quest Miss Kennedy is raising funds for the Leeton Early Learning Centre, who is also her committee, as well as the MIA branch of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Australia.
"I think the highlight was seeing the kids have a look through the emergency services vehicles," Miss Kennedy said.
"It showed some of them they don't need to be scared when they see the police or the fire brigade because they are there to help."
Miss Kennedy will be holding a garage sale on March 8, with her final event to be an art gallery evening on March 25.
"We went hard pretty early with all of my events, so we've started to reach the peak now before we hold the last two," she said.
"The community has been really great."
