A LEETON man has been arrested after he was found to be in possession of child abuse material.
Ricki James O'Leary, 59, was arrested on Friday afternoon by detectives from the Griffith Local Area Command after they executed a search warrant at his Leeton address.
During the search, police uncovered child abuse material on a computer hard drive and as a result Mr O'Leary was arrested and taken to Leeton police station. He was charged with one count of possessing child abuse material.
Mr O'Leary was refused bail before he appeared at the Griffith bail court on Saturday.
Bail was again refused and the matter adjourned to the Wagga Local Court, where he appeared yesterday.
