Official activities for the biennial event kick off this evening, but that will be the tip of the iceberg for what is planned throughout the Easter long weekend.
Glitz 'n' Glamour @ The Hydro will formally launch the festival tonight, with the Penny Paniz Memorial Arts Competition opening night to also be held.
Hot air balloon flights will be soaring throughout the weekend, with spots still available to be snapped up.
The festival will culminate on Easter Saturday with marquee events - the grand parade, Festival on Mountford and the announcing of the winners of the Ambassador Quest.
Festival director Sally Doig was confident the weekend would be the best yet.
"We really do have something for everyone," Mrs Doig said.
"The parade this year is going to be absolutely fantastic. We've got some fabulous floats and costumes, as well as Ronald McDonald and Peppa Pig making an appearance.
"In the park afterwards there will be performances, food galore, rides and so much more."
The opening of the Leeton Lions Club heritage pathway will also take place Easter Saturday morning, with many smaller events planned throughout the weekend.
Leeton's Longest Lunch has sold out and will be held on Easter Sunday, with diners to be treated to an Italian feast.
The balloon glow on Sunday evening will also be a popular choice for many residents.
The Riverina Skate Championships and the Leeton Water Wheel Garden Club Open Day will round out celebrations on Easter Monday.
Mrs Doig has many favourite components of the festival.
"I think the best thing about the festival is the opportunity to catch up with friends and family," she said.
"It's a great time to celebrate all things Leeton.
"It's all about coming together and having fun. That's what it is all about."
