The club held its annual changeover dinner recently at the Yanco All-Servicemen's Club where a new president was welcomed to the role.
Ian Peacock has taken on the reins of president from Buster Ryan, who has held the position for the past two years.
Sue Parker accepted the role of secretary and Joanne Peacock will continue as treasurer.
Forty guests attended the event, with three new members who had been inducted in the past six months enjoying their first changeover dinner.
All other positions at the club were also filled, according to Ms Parker.
She said Mr Peacock was ready to tackle the challenge of the year ahead and had many plans for the club.
"Ian said he was looking forward to a positive year while he is (has) the reins of the club," Ms Parker said.
"He would like to devise ways of introducing people to joining the Yanco Lions Club.
"Also on the cards was getting the members out and about more in the public in a more (individual) and group-centered way.
"What we really want to do is raise the visibility of Yanco Lions within the community, making people aware of the work that (we do) and can do."
During the changeover evening, the club made donations to the Leeton branch of Can Assist, Leeton Preschool and Assumption Villa.
Throughout the year it also made donations to Leeton Fire and Rescue NSW, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Guide Dogs Australia and Yanco CWA.
The club also sponsored two children to attend the Licola holiday camp, as well as another five children to attend Circus Quirkus.
Members were kept busy throughout the year with numerous catering events, with Mr Peacock hopeful this will continue in 2014-15.
After purchasing the former service station building in Yanco, the club is currently in the process of renovating the location and will use it to store its catering van and accessories.
Renovations have included painting, putting signage up, cementing and weed control.
