Drawn rink winners were Gullotta and Stiller, with Therese Sarah, Margaret McKenzie and Joan Watson the runners-up. Plant had a resting toucher.
With only the singles championships left to play in 2014, there will be a few weeks of social play to enjoy to allow the weather to improve.
Social bowls will start at 10am, with names to be in by 9am.
Windy semi-finals action
THE semi-finals of the Leeton and District Bowling Club ladies triples were played in windy, but sunny conditions.
The team of Vi Watson, Judy Heness and Elaine Suillivan played Marie Odewahn, Jan Walker and Joan Lloyd. This was an exciting match and the game was tight from the start, but as it progressed, Lloyd's team crept to the lead. On the 18th end, the win went to Lloyd's team.
Joan Arnold, Patti Wakeman and Dot Semmler came up against Wilma Alexander, Nan Hamilton and Enid Tuckett, who had a slow start.
However, as the game progressed they began to win with some great shots, but were up against some strong competition. The win ended up with Semmler and her team. The finals will be held this week.
The winners of the day were Odewahn, Walker and Lloyd, with the raffle being won by Hamilton.
No social bowls were played as the ladies catered for the funeral of the late Frank O'Connell.
Championship pairs will close this week, with the draw posted after the day's play.
The monthly meeting will be held this week, but in the event of rain and the greens being closed, the meeting will be held at 10am.
Social bowls will be played this week, with names to be in early.
The triples championships will begin at 9.40am, with trial ends.
