THE Leeton man charged over a spate of armed robberies at restaurants in Sydney has fronted Campbelltown Local Court.

Aaron Damian Platt, 38, was arrested in June and was the fifth person to be charged as part of an ongoing investigation led by Strike Force Nutba.
Officers from the State Crime Command formed the strike force to investigate a number of incidents at restaurants in south-western and western Sydney earlier this year.
Each robbery involved at least two men entering the property and threatening a cleaner with a firearm, before attempting to gain access to any on-site cash.
Officers arrested Mr Platt after he was transferred from the Junee Correctional Centre to Wagga police station.
He was charged with numerous offences, including five counts of robbery in company while armed, two counts of detain for advantage (aggravated), two counts of possess firearm and one of aggravated break and enter.
Mr Platt appeared before Campbelltown Local Court on July 16 before magistrate Walsh where the matter was adjourned for mention on September 10.
Bail was again refused by the magistrate.
Mr Platt's arrest followed that of Leeton woman Lee Tasker, 37, who was charged with supplying a prohibited firearm and possessing a prohibited drug as part of the investigation.

A YANCO man arrested following the alleged discovery of weapons and drugs in his home remains behind bars.
Glenn Habres appeared in Griffith Local Court on July 17 after he was allegedly found in possession of a crossbow, firearms and an amount of drugs after police executed a search warrant at his Short Street home on February 27.
Mr Habres was arrested at the house and taken to Leeton police station where he was charged with numerous offences, including possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing a shortened firearm and supplying a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail before magistrate Shane McAnulty, with the matter adjourned to Griffith Local Court on Wednesday for mention.
