Last week the former Leeton resident received confirmation he had secured a minor role in Hollywood's newest $100 million dollar blockbuster San Andreas.
Starring Dwayne Johnson, the action-adventure disaster film, will be directed by Brad Peyton and released worldwide in 2D and 3D on June 5, 2015.
Last Thursday, Fonzie was preparing to jet off to his new home on the Gold Coast to begin shooting.
"Oh my God. I can't believe it," he said.
"When I got confirmation, straight away I thought back to when I was just a little kid dreaming of this.
"Now I've got a part in a Hollywood blockbuster and I'm gobsmacked."
He only moved to Sydney 12 months ago and has just finished work on the movie Fat Pizza vs Housos, where he plays one of the SWAT cops.
Fonzie, who attended a casting for the movie three months ago, said he couldn't wait to get started.
"It's only a very small role," he said.
"It's not a speaking part, but for me just getting my name in the credits of my second movie in a matter of weeks is amazing.
"I'm now cast in a $100 million movie.
"It doesn't matter what role I've got.
"It just gives me greater hope for the future.
"This is a start and I'm getting to do something I love and I'm making a living out of it."
