To be held in Wagga on Sunday, Destiny will be one of many to take part in the event, which aims to provide entrants with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the modelling industry.
Last month Destiny was named the Rotary Belle of the Ball and hopes to use her experiences from that event as part of the competition.
"The Belle of the Ball was the first time I've done anything like that," Destiny said.
"The people (from Country Girl Australia) actually rang me and asked if I wanted to take part.
"I thought it would be something fun to do and an opportunity to make new friends.
"That's the part I'm looking forward to the most."
Country Girl Australia is separated into four different categories - junior, senior, swimwear and career - and is held across the country in five different locations.
This year marks the first time the career category has been part of the event.
Destiny is currently a year 12 student at Leeton High School and has many interests, including photography, reading, water sports, going to the gym and raising money for the Look Good, Feel Better charity.
She is undecided what to do when she completes her schooling, tossing up between either studying to become a psychologist or personal trainer.
"I haven't met any of the other girls...(taking part) yet, but there's a Facebook...page set up," Destiny said.
"I'm pretty nervous, but I'm sure it will be fun.
"My main aim is just to make friends and hear all about their stories and lives."
