QUITE a lot has been written about the sickening and horrendous scourge of pedophilia, which has been revealed to have been prevalent for many years now.

The royal commission on the subject is turning out an expose of the scandalous conduct perpetuated on children by so-called carers in many so-called Christian churches and institutions, causing the victims to have future devastated and blighted lives and sometimes suicides.
I wish here to express the extreme importance of the child in the scheme of human life. After all, is not one generation a sacrifice to the next? Let's be reminded of the words of the founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ:
"Let the children come to me and do not hinder them; the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
"I assure you, unless you change and become like little children, you will not enter the kindgom of God." (Matthew 18:3)
And strong words from the God of love:
"But it would be better for anyone who leads astray any of these little ones, were to be plunged in the sea with a great millstone fastened around his neck." (Mark 9:42)
And from the diary of a recent saint (Maria Faustina, canonised in 2000), who prayed to Jesus saying, "I beg you Jesus, look not on our sins, but on the tears of little children, on the hunger and cold they suffer. Jesus for the sake of these innocent ones, grant us repentance". Jesus answered, "You see daughter, what great compassion I have for them. Know that it is they who uphold the world".
It is not the UN, or NATO, or the EU or any organisation that staves off God's punishment, but the unsung, the innocent, the very often maltreated and abused children of the world who appease our Creator.
Now, with the ever-increasing tides of world corruption in all its forms, wars (39 raging at present, with the backdrop of World War III hanging in the balance), drastic rise in drug consumption, domestics, selling of children for sex slavery, stealing of social and foreign aid funds, manufacture of nuclear and conventional weapons in abundance and distribution to third world countries, the ever-present question arises - how much longer can the Creator withhold his hand? What can we do?
We must protect our children. I commend you to an organisation that has lately come to be, it is called Bravehearts and it exists to attempt to warn little kids to be on guard against deviants and make the public aware of such dangers.
