The Good Old Days Weekend boasts even more attractions this year and is a spectacle not to be missed, according to the organising committee.
On offer over the two days will be various demonstrations of early farming techniques, displays of vintage farm machinery and a team of clydesdale horses pulling a wagon loaded with wool bales.
Committee member Laura Curran said the working clydesdales were always one of the highlights of the event.
"I think the whole weekend just gets bigger and better every year," Mrs Curran said.
"We've got people coming from Sydney and all over the state.
"This year we've decided to incorporate a rodeo ... usually there is one as part of the Barellan Show, but there wasn't this year, so hopefully that will get even more people out here."
Other new attractions this year will be bull rides, a woodchopping demonstration, a grand parade with a time line of tractors from down through the ages and the clydesdale weight pull.
Barellan Beer will also be launched to coincide with the weekend, while Fanny Lumsden and the Thrillseekers have the entertainment portion of the weekend covered.
A camp oven dinner will satisfy the tastebuds on the Saturday night and there will also be an animal nursery for children and adults alike to check out.
Mrs Curran said if Leeton shire residents hadn't been out to the event before, 2014 was the year to do so.
"It's a great family weekend," she said.
"There's lots to see and do for everyone.
"We're really excited about it ... it's really started to get a name for itself."
The Good Old Days Weekend will be held in Barellan on Saturday and Sunday, with Barellan Beer to be launched on Friday.
