THIS year's St Andrew's Presbyterian Fete and Flower Show will aim to provide residents with a chance to get their Christmas shopping ticked off the list early.

While the event will also focus on its traditional aspects, organisers are hoping to entice residents through the gates by providing ample opportunity to pick up some festive gift ideas.
There will be everything from hands-on activities and entertainment to arts and crafts, which have been created by the church's two craft groups, according to organiser Lorraine Chesworth.
"We'll have many activities throughout the morning," Mrs Chesworth said.
"Our craft stall will be one of the biggest there ... we're using it as a bit of a way for people to get some of their Christmas shopping done."
The flower and handicraft competition will also be part of the event, as well as games, colouring-in, jumping castle and a small nursery for children to keep entertained.
There will be the usual array of home-baked and homemade goodies for sale, with throwing of a wet sponge at the minister certain to draw a crowd again, according to Mrs Chesworth.
"The Leeton Pipe Band will play and we'll have highland dancers here," she said.
"It should be a great morning out for everyone."
A devonshire tea and barbecue lunch will be on offer for those looking for something a little extra.
The fete will be held at the St Andrew's church grounds from 9am on Saturday.
