LAST weekend the Leeton golf course hosted the first two rounds of the annual club championships with good numbers and low scores.
Profesisonal Jason Mimmo said he had 65 players scheduled to be taking part over all four days of the championship.
"That is solid for us and on top of that there are people who will not play all four, which brings it up to about 90 (overall)," Mimmo said.
John Kellahan is leading A grade at one-over for the two days. He is four in front of Scott Turner.
Nathan Lucchese has a 13-shot lead in B grade, while in C grade Harrison Kimball has a slender lead over Andy Thornburrow and Jim Pilkington.
"Scores have been low," Mimmo said. "The course is good and the leaders are doing well, a bit better than I thought, to be honest."
The final two rounds of the championship will be played tomorrow and Sunday.
