Leeton Shire Council will host the open forum on Wednesday, with all residents from the town encouraged to attend to make their feelings heard on a number of issues.
On council's agenda will be an overview of recent and upcoming works in the town, the Whitton Recreation Reserve and the Whitton Museum.
There will also be an allotted time for residents to raise any issues or concerns with council, according to director of corporate services Duncan McWhirter.
"We'll be updating members of the Whitton community on future works ... one of those projects is an upgrade at the park there to try and invigorate that part of town," he said.
"Another issue up for discussion will be the Whitton Museum and how it can be greater used as an attraction of the town.
"The future use of the sporting recreations reserve will also be discussed."
It's not the first time council has held a community meeting in one of the shire's smaller towns this year, with a similar forum held in Yanco earlier this year.
Council general manager John Batchelor encouraged as many residents as possible to take part in the meeting.
"Council will be there to listen to any issues residents may have," Mr Batchelor said.
"We had a similar meeting in Yanco that went really well, so we decided we would try to hold these things a couple of times a year.
"It's a good opportunity to get out into the community."
The meeting will be held at the Whitton Community Hall at 6pm on Wednesday.
