The festival began earlier this month and has included more than 100 different events across the region.
Leeton held its own launch for Taste Riverina at the Leeton Visitor Information Centre Red Carpet Day and since then each event has met with plenty of enthusiasm, according to organising committee member Jacqui Herrmann.
"There were about 10 events on in Leeton throughout October," Mrs Herrmann said.
"What I have loved about it is the excitement from the community about these different activities and the way they have thrown themselves into it.
"There has been that real interest on where the food is coming from in our region."
Events included an Oktoberfest dinner at Page's on Pine, the Bubble Muffin Cooking Club at the Leeton Show, a cooking with wine class at Lillypilly Estate Winery and Women Who Wine, involving Toorak Winery, La Fresco Caffe and Yanco Hotel.
Mrs Herrmann said residents enjoyed getting to know the produce being served and the drinks being paired with meals.
"It showcases the broad range of produce we have here in Leeton and the clever people that are growing it, preparing it and all those kinds of things," she said.
"It's been a good opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy something different.
"We're very satisfied with the success of the event throughout the region and we already look forward to next year."
The final Taste Riverina event will be held in Griffith this evening, with attendees expected from across the region to celebrate the end of the festival.
