FOR the first time in recent memory the A grade club championships will go to a play-off round after Josh Helson and Scott Turner finished tied after four days of play.
Held over consecutive weekends, the four rounds could not separate the pair as they both finished on 301.
They will return this weekend for another 18 holes to determine a winner.
Seventeen ladies competed in the club championships over the four days, with Viv Burton finishing the clear winner by 37 shots.
Burton also took out the A grade handicap title.

Men
On Saturday 56 players took part the second-last round of the championships as well as a daily stroke competition.
Tim Commins took the honours in division one with a net 68, ahead of Les Dedini (69 net). Division two was cleaned up by Matt Brett (64 net), closely followed by Peter Errey (65 net).
Nearest the pins: 4th Scott Turner, 6th and 13th Jason Nardi, 15th Mark Del Gigante
Players needed to 72 net or better to win a ball.
On Sunday there were 46 players for the fourth and final round of the championships. The daily competition winners were Travis Doyle from Grahame Fitzsimon (68 net c/b) in division one, and Mick Burton (67 net) and Andy Thornburrow (71) in division two.
Nearest the pins: 4th Damian Lang, 6th Nathan Lucchese, 13th Matt Dedini, 15th Les Dedini
Drive and chip: division one Doyle, division two Lucchese
Les Dedini took the last ball in the ball competition with nett 72 on a count back.
Ladies
In the ladies' competition, 17 players stepped out for a stroke round on Saturday with some good golf played.
Winner of the day was Nola O'Reilly with 71 net, with Viv Burton runner-up (72 net).
Nearest the pins: 4th O'Reilly, 15th Burton. Players needed 74 or better to collect a ball.
On Sunday, 18 ladies contested the last round of the championships with the daily winner being Helen Webb with 69 net. Runner-up was Kath Lamont with 70 nett.
Nearest the pins: 4th Burton, 13th Lamont, Jenny Thomas.
While the official ball competition went to 73 net, Alex Podres gave each player a ball for competing in all four rounds of the championship.
