FORMER Leeton-Whitton junior Kurt Aylett has been delisted by Essendon, but will be re-drafted by the club.
The 22 year-old midfielder was delisted this week ahead of next month's AFL national draft.
The 2014 season was Aylett's first at Essendon after being traded from Greater Western Sydney.
Aylett played one game for GWS in 2012 and this year played two games for Essendon.
Essendon general manager - football operations Rob Kerr said the club would re-draft Aylett through the AFL rookie draft in December.
"Kurt will return to pre-season training next week and continue his preparations for the upcoming season," Kerr said.
"Kurt is a valued member of our playing group and we look forward to his ongoing development."
