With this in mind, Leeton Shire Council economic development, tourism and events manager Peter Kennedy said it was important for as many businesses and their employees attend the final breakfast of the year on Tuesday.
The event will be hosted by financial planner Dan Findlay, who will outline what he has to offer the business sector in order to help it grow.
Mr Kennedy said the last breakfast of the year would have many benefits.
"It's always important to attend these events," he said.
"Having them early in the morning means you are setting up your day well and you never know when the first seed of an idea will pop up just by attending and networking.
"There's always an opportunity to meet with like-minded business people and connect on a range of different ideas."
Some of the issues Mr Findlay will cover during the breakfast will include superannuation, personal and business risk insurance, taxation planning and finance assistance.
Mr Kennedy said the business breakfasts, while running for many years, still remained popular.
"We've only got one space left for next year as we've already filled three of the breakfasts," he said.
"I think the business community of Leeton appreciates the opportunity to get together and discuss what's happening in the town.
"You never know what these conversations will lead to."
Business breakfast attendees will be offered a free consultation with Mr Findlay.
The breakfast will be held at the Leeton Heritage Motor Inn on Tuesday from 7.30am to 8.30am, with RSVPs required at council by Monday.
