Ms Maloney is the latest artist to feature work at the Historic Hydro Motor Inn, with her designs to line the walls of the iconic building's messanine.

Her exhibition is now open fto explore, with the works expected to remain hanging until January.

The space has been co-ordinated by Leeton artist Noel Forbes, who also hails from the South Coast area.

"I know Aileen and that's how it's come about that we have her work here in Leeton," Mr Forbes said.

"People will get a lot of fun out of her pieces I think.

"They are very clever and would appeal to many people that live in Leeton shire."

Ms Maloney has been involved with art for many years, having been tertiary-trained in various media, techniques and design.

She is a qualified art therapist and now specialises in hand-pressed, lino-cuts and line-form drawings.

Ms Maloney uses various techniques to express her love of the forms she finds in nature, wildlife, people and their possessions.

She has exhibited her work in galleries in Sydney, Canberra and throughout regional NSW, Victoria and Queensland.

The exhibition will be open each day this month, December and into January for all to take a peek free-of-charge.
