The needs-based funding will be provided by the state government next year for seven of Leeton shire's schools.
The additional support is part of the Gonski agreement that will deliver $5 billion to NSW students over six years. Leeton High School will be the biggest beneficiary and will receive an extra $135,599.
"We had sort of been sweating on it in the last few weeks, wondering if it was going to come through," principal Greg Horton said.
"What we'll do now is sit down with the school executive and P&C and plan where this money will go.
"The school is still getting its head around the new funding model, but extra funding like this allows us to do a few more things.
"It helps support our students ... next year it will allow us to focus on kids that 'miss out'."
Last year the shire's schools received the first increase in funding as part of the government's new Resource Allocation Model.
The Local Schools, Local Decisions reforms mean schools and principals can decide together how and where the funding could be used.
Parkview Public School principal Travis Irvin said additional funding was always welcome.
"We're obviously happy to be acknowledged for the complexity of our school community and the funds that are needed to assist with different issues," Mr Irvin said.
"This additional funding will assist our students where needed."
Parkview Public will receive an extra $95,538, while Wamoon Public School will have an increase of more than $50,000.
"It certainly will make a difference," Wamoon principal Chris George said.
"It will help with certain programs we run and give us the ability to extend those and include more students going forward."
Whitton Public School and Murrami Public School were not mentioned in the funding breakdown after it was announced the two schools will amalgamate next year.
