YANCO Hotel could not hold off the irresistible force that is L&D CC working up to full flight when the two teams met at Yanco Sportsground on Saturday.
The Ferrets chased down Hotel's 135 with relative ease to win by five wickets and bring up a third victory in a row.
L&D won the toss and put the Stags in, with the opening partnership of Mark Doyle (11) and Dave Tiffin (6) producing 23 runs.
Tiffin was bowled by Antony Tocin (1-15) and Doyle suffered the same fate courtesy of Jonte Schmetzer (1-15) to have Hotel 2-30.
However, the in-form Brandon Emerson (29) and Luke Pygram (10) added another 33 runs and then Emerson and Kieran Moon (13) took the score to 89 before the latter was bowled by Kodie O'Malley (1-13).
A grade debutant Jameson Booth (9) showed his capabilities in the middle order, while captain Dionisio Pantano (12) and Nathan Lanham (9) also contributed.
L&D used eight bowlers and, aside from Elwin's three, all took a wicket.
Kieren O'Callaghan provided the guts of the L&D chase with his 43 at the top of the order creating stability.
He lost Jason Bowe (4) and Sam Alampi without scoring quite early to Matthew Aliendi (2-35), but was joined by Elwin (20) to take the score to 56.
Elwin and O'Callaghan were both removed by the spin of Pygram (2-33), but their dismissals brought together Peter Lashbrook (33no) and Dan Davies (26) and the score went along to 128 until Rhyan Carter (1-32) removed the latter.
Tocin (6no) was with Lashbrook when the Ferrets passed the Hotel total.
