For the period of July 1 to September 30, council recorded a net profit of $26,262.17 at the course.
However, expenditure totalled more than $103,000 for the same time period.
Expenses included $23,460 for the maintenance of the greens, $6682 in affiliation fees and $8863 for wages and professional fees.
Other expenses were recorded for tee, fairway and grounds maintenance, as well as the use of electricity, water, chemicals and fertiliser.
Speaking at council's October meeting, director of corporate services Duncan McWhirter said the course remained in good shape.
"We have been getting many positive comments about the course and how good it is looking," Mr McWhirter said.
"Council would like to thank all of the volunteers down there.
"They are doing a great amount of work and that is contributing to lowering some of our costs."
Council was approached by the Leeton Soldiers Club at the end of 2012 to take over the course and after various community consultations it was decided it would do so in May last year in a caretaker capacity.
There have been no concrete suggestions as to what will happen to management of the course at the end of the two years in May, 2015.
