Murrami Public shuts doors for final time

MURRAMI Public School students celebrate the school's final day after a 90-year history. All were given the chance to ring the school bell one last time, including Stanley Herrmann, one of three captains in the school's final year and the fourth generation of his family to attend the school, stretching back to its first year in 1925.

IT WAS the end of an era at Murrami Public School on Wednesday when it closed its doors for the final time.
