Among the high achievers with big Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank numbers were St Francis College students Will Hayward (99.80), Nimalan Sundaram (99.65), Indianna Chant (99.15), and Leeton High School Sally Boardman (97.75) and Annalise Ramponi (90.65).
Yanco Agricultural High School student Teia Oliver was placed on the top achievers' list for her business services results, which ranks students with the highest places in each subject.
MET School's Margie Donald scored 93.45 and was fifth in the state in the textiles and design subject.
Students from LHS and St Francis College have also been named on the distinguished achievers list, with the three from St Francis all receiving an all-rounders award.
"We're extremely happy with this year's results," college principal Brenda King said.
"This year we've had band sixes in every subject, which is a great achievement.
"The students have worked very hard and our staff should be congratulated as well.
"We couldn't be any more proud of all our students ... they have worked extremely hard."
Students completed their HSC exams throughout October and into November.
LHS year 12 adviser Kellie Goman said students were pleased with their efforts.
"Many of them have already been granted early entry into university, while others will be going off to jobs and traineeships," Mrs Goman said.
"There's been good results across the board this year.
"It's great to have two students have ATARs in the 90s."
Yanco Agricultural High School principal Daryl Finch was unavailable for comment.
