The team will hit the road on Sunday and will be hoping for back-to-back victories after defeating Hay in their last Creet Cup match before the Christmas break.
Team captain Brent Lawrence said the side was ready and raring to go.
“The team is settled and it’s much the same as the one we took to Hay,” he said.
“The only change is we’ll have Steve Weckert coming back in and he’ll be our vice-captain … it will be good to have that experience back.”
The Wolves will be hoping for a big win over Lake Cargelligo as the side looks to defend its Creet Cup title.
Lawrence said the opposition was still an unknown going into the game.
“For me personally I haven’t played a rep game out at Lakes since I was about 12,” he said.
“We don’t really know what to expect, but I would assume they would be a tough side much like the ones you get from West Wyalong, Hay and places like that.
“I would expect them to go hard with the willow in hand.
“They do play a lot of cricket on synthetic and this match will be played on turf, so that will be to our advantage I would think.
“It’s going to be a tough match, but I’m confident in the team we have.”
Lawrence said having a mix of experience and youth would work to the advantage of the Wolves.
“This group have been playing well together,” he said.
“With the ball we’ll be looking to Josh Carn to lead our bowling attack again.
“Then I would be expecting Corey Graham to stand up with the bat.
“He was our representative player of the year last year, so he has the experience.
“He’s also a club captain now, so it should all carry across.
“It will be a team effort to get over the line.”
Training for the team will be held tonight, with Lawrence hoping for a decent turnout.
“We’ll catch up as a group and likely working on some fielding practice,” he said.
“It would be good to see as many numbers there as possible.”
Training will be held from 5pm this evening at Mark Taylor Oval.
All players travelling to Lake Cargelligo will need to meet at McDonald's at 7.30am on Sunday.
