Those there on the day heard from Jason Richardson from Western Riverina Arts, who provided both the theory and practical aspects of taking unique photos.
Mr Richardson shared tips and skills and participants also took home free software to edit digital photographs on computers at home.
The workshop focused on using the program GIMP, which is a free alternative to Photoshop that has tools to crop, scale and touch-up images.
Participants were also encouraged to take part in photography competitions as they arise in Leeton shire throughout the year.
