This initiative has been running for many years in our shire and will hopefully continue to do so.
RYDA is a fantastic program that aids and assists young people that are approaching gaining their driver’s license.
What RYDA aims to do is cover all bases that young drivers should know about when getting behind the wheel.
Even as a bystander watching on it is interesting the things you pick up.It was even a good refresher for myself. These sorts of programs no doubt hit home with young drivers.
The presenters speak to them on their level and explain the ins and outs of why it is important to always be aware and safe on the road.
A crash survivor also outlines his experience.
This session always hits home with students because as most of us would know, we all go through a phase in our lives where think we are invincible.
Driving a car can be dangerous every day. It’s not just young people that need to be aware each time their clip in their seatbelt.
There is no doubt we have all been at fault on the road in one way or another.
If RYDA can help save even one young life I would say it has done its job.
