A multicultural friendship group has been formed to assist those that have moved to Leeton with all kinds of issues, including the English language.
The group has been formed by Leeton Shire Council with the help of Susie Rowe, who will be the co-ordinator.
Residents will be able to share in different cultures and experiences and create friendships. Leeton shire currently has many different people that have moved to town after leaving their countries during times of war.
The first meeting of the group will be held on Tuesday at the library from 5.30pm. For more information contact Mrs Rowe on 0424 363 490.
