Held in Leeton, the boys side defeated the combined Small Schools team first up 4-0. The final against Leeton Public School was the third successive occasion that both teams have played in the final, with Parkview Public prevailing 2-1.
The Parkview boys were confident and instructed to play an aggressive brand of soccer to counteract several talented players in the LPS squad.
Josh Martin, Corey Axtill, Brandon Crowe, Tyler O'Connell and Riley Bradshaw will now represent the LNPSSA at the Riverina soccer trials held in May.
The girls team performed with distinction to defeat Narrandera 6-1 in their first match. The final was a thrilling affair and was also played against Leeton Public that ended in a one-all draw. LPS scored first before Parkview re-grouped to score through Shakira O’Connell in the second half.
Shakira O'Connell, Portia Marks, Emily Wright, Zoe Locke, Tateum Ingram and Molly Gilmour were all selected in the LNPSSA representative team.
The side will contest the Riverina championships in April.
The school offered its congratulations to all players.
