ON MARCH 27, Leeton Highl hosted Narrandera High School in round one of the Secondary Country Schools Chess Championships.
LHS had two teams participating. LHS had a 3–1 win for both the A team and the B team. The A team will now move on to round two in the winners competition early next term.

ON MARCH 25 and 26 Leeton High held its athletics carnival. Madeline Warburton threw 35.23m in the open girls javelin breaking L Heath’s 1981 record of 30.20m.
Age champions at the carnival were:
