A sizeable crowd turned out for the annual event at the Yanco Community Hall.
Those taking part included returned veterans, members of the community and school children.
The service was led by Jim Morrison, who welcomed residents to the commemorations.
“It’s very pleasing to see so many people here today,” Mr Morrison said.
“I think it’s a pretty big occasion, so to have so many people come along is great.”
Mr Morrison gave the Salute before the names of the fallen were read out.
They were SR Barling, G Bolton, WC Brown, LAK Bullock, J Byrne, RT Cranney, GC Croll, B Culey, GF Dare, J Henningham, CR Holmes, H Houghton, IM King, GN Lucas, F Matthews, K McGowan, AR Oag, WD Oag, KR Phillipson, LJ Quinlivan, D Spence and J Young.
Wreaths were also laid in honour of the fallen from Yanco and across Australia and New Zealand.
Representatives placed the wreaths under the honour roll to mark World War I and World War II, as well as the Vietnam War and other conflicts.
The Last Post and reveille was sounded before those gathered fell silent for one minute.
Mr Morrison read the prologue and invited residents to join in a lunch at Yanco All-Servicemen’s Club.
He said 2015 had special significance.
“Obviously it’s the 100th anniversary … I would say most people know about it,” Mr Morrison said.
“I would say that is what has brought so many people out today.
“They want to pay their respects.”
Mr Morrison said every Anzac Day held special meaning.
“For me it is a big day,” he said.
“My father was a World War II veteran, but he has passed away now.
“It’s a day to reflect on the sacrifice made.
“I’m glad Yanco has come out to support Anzac Day again.”
