Maguire steered home Im Johnny Jet and Arctic for his father Phil Maguire in back to back races.
Im Johnny Jet put in a tough display to win his first race in Australia.
It was the conclusion to a busy week for Maguire.
He was chosen, along with Ellen Bartley, to be the Riverina’s representatives for the Rising Stars series in June.
The drivers will gather at the Pepper Tree Farm Breeders Challenge barrier draws on June 21 before competing in heats at Young, Bathurst, Newcastle, Penrith and Tabcorp Park Menangle.
Bartley also enjoyed success at Coolamon with Eleantra for David Kennedy.
The Coolamon Cup was taken out by Sokys Bigbullet, which is trained by Bruce Harpley.
“He worked pretty hard and that second quarter was pretty quick,” Harpley said.
