POLICE are appealing for information following an alleged home invasion in Leeton early on Thursday morning.

About 1.30am, emergency services were called to a home in Hickory Street, following reports of a home invasion.
Police were told six people, five men and one woman wearing balaclavas and armed with poles, baton, and knives, entered the home and threatened the occupants, before taking property and fleeing.
One of the occupants, a 56-year-old man, was assaulted during the incident.
He was treated at the scene by Leeton Paramedics for minor injuries.
The other occupants, a 29-year-old man, and two women aged 26 and 42, were not injured.
A crime scene was established and the incident is being investigated by officers from Griffith Local Area Command.
Police are appealing for any Leeton shire residents with information to come forward.
