As with most long weekends more than the usual activities will be on offer.
Leeton will be hosting the official launch of the Taste Riverina Festival tonight at the Roxy Theatre, an event that is promising much fanfare.
It was a coup for Leeton to be announced as the official launching pad for this year’s event and will likely help to put our great shire on the map even more.
The launch officially kick starts the festival, which includes myriad events in Leeton and the wider MIA and Riverina.
Also happening this weekend is the Wamoon Public School centenary celebrations.
What an achievement for this school.
Those looking to take a drive, but still wanting to remain close to home should check out the Barellan Good Old Days Weekend, which promises dozens of activities for both young and old.
If all else fails there’s still plenty to do in Leeton shire without thinking too hard.
The weather is forecast to be warm and sunny, so get outside and explore.
If you complain you can’t find something to do this long weekend in Leeton shire you must not be trying too hard.
Enjoy the three-day weekend Leeton shire.
