The club held its hams carnival in Waring Park on Saturday, with many residents turning out to try their luck at spinning the wheel and winning Christmas dinner.
There were plenty of hams to be given away, with proceeds made from the event going to the Yanco Public School to assist in purchasing books and resources for children. The hams carnival has been a tradition of the Yanco Lions Club for many years.
Organisers were pleased at the success of this year’s event and thanked the community for participating. Similar events will soon be held in Leeton and Whitton as the festive season draws closer.
