Five Leeton people will face court on Friday after being charged in the aftermath of a violent home invasion on Thursday.

Police and paramedics responded to reports of a break-in in Gossamer Street, Leeton in the early hours of Thursday.
Once there, police were told an earlier incident led to two men and two women kicking in the back door of the home around 12.30am
One of the men was allegedly armed with a metal bar.
Once inside, the 33-year-old woman and 36-year-old man who reside at the home were attacked by the intruders, who fled on foot shortly after.
Investigations led police from the Griffith Local Area Command to a home on Wirilda Street, Leeton, where they arrested three people.
A 21-year-old woman, a 19-year-old an and a 15-year-old boy were arrested, as well as a 17-year-old boy.
Soon after, another woman – aged 37 – was also arrested and the contingent were taken to Leeton police station.
All five of them were charged with aggravated break, enter and commit an indictable offence.
The three adults will appear before Griffith Local Court on Friday, while the two juveniles will face a children’s court.
