For many years the staff and residents at Carramar have been working to create the garden, which now includes many new features.
There is a bus stop, old town signs donated by Leeton Shire Council, pet birds and flourishing flowers throughout.
Carramar staff member Coral Kenny said the garden had been a work in progress for at least 21 years.
“It’s been an ongoing process and it will probably stay that way,” she said.
“A garden is never finished.
“You’re always working on it.
“We basically just want to thank everyone for their help and support over the years.
“There have been many wonderful and kind donations.”
Carramar residents regularly tend to the garden, which Mrs Kenny said was a positive.
“It’s also a lovely spot for them to sit with their families as well,” she said.
