Too think as adults, well a particular portion of adults in our shire, think it’s okay to just dump rubbish wherever they please is disgusting.
If you’re going to go to the effort of loading up the trailer or the back of a ute full of rubbish, is it seriously that hard not to empty it in the correct way at the landfill?
Sure there’s a cost involved, but that surely outweighs the decision to just dump it on the side of the road for someone else to deal with.
Have we become such a lazy society that we don’t even feel an ounce of guilt at this behaviour?
Get a grip people.
It’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure their rubbish is properly disposed of.
As I said, it’s something we learn from a young age, so why should it be any different when we get older?
What sort of habits are we then teaching our children?
Not to mention it looks absolutely disgusting to have rubbish lying on the side of the road not only to residents, but visitors as well.
It shouldn’t have to be up to others to come along and clean up this mess.
So, make sure you dispose of your rubbish properly or risk facing a fine that could come in at thousands of dollars for such putrid behaviour.
