With this in mind Regional Development Australia Riverina and Leeton Shire Council will be hosting a free workshop to help organisations and charities wanting to apply for grant funding.
The event “introduction to grant writing” will aim to provide core skills for volunteers, staff and fund-raising groups in writing successful grant applications for their community organisation.
The workshop will provide an introduction to grantwriting that will answer all “grantseeking questions” and leave participants with the tools to ensure they are grant ready and stand out from the crowd.
Those taking part will learn the top tips to grant success, as well as finding out where and when to apply for grant funding.
Those that should attend include community organisations (incorporated and council committees), “accidental” grant writers, and groups and individuals seeking extra funds for their cause.
The event will be held on February 23 from 9am to 12.30pm at the council.
To register contact 6953 0951 or email nateakab@leeton.nsw.gov.au.
A registration form will also need to be filled out.
