Ray Gough was the player of the round with a brilliant 29 nett.
John Hindmarsh, Wayne Gordon and Brian Conroy all had blinders also with six under nett 30s.
Peter Hodge and Jason Bowe had 31s and Gracie Henman, Christine Campisi, James Moore, Ross Farlow, John Shutte and Garry Coughlan recorded 32s. The ball cut off was 34.
The Bradmans were the team of the round with a brilliant 15 under 165 due to the efforts of Gough, Coughlan and Marco Tancredi.
They were also well supported by Laney Lashbrook-Gough and Carl Blackman.
The team totals are still five out of eight scores to count and most think more about the best score of the team when it’s actually how good is the 4th and 5th card.
They are the scores that can effect a team total sometimes influencing an end result by up to 10 strokes.
Therefore giving the teams with eight players a far better chance to put together a solid team total.
