Miss Morton held a pizza, pasta and wine night as her final fundraiser as part of the quest on Friday night.
“The atmosphere was very relaxed,” she said.
“People commented on how nice the food was and that they were enjoying the night.”
The Yanco Amateur Swimming Club is the committee behind Miss Morton’s quest bid, with members responsible for the cooking on the night.
Now, Miss Morton’s attentions have turned to this weekend’s festival and the announcing of the quest winners.
“At the moment we’re just putting the finishing touches on our float,” she said. “We’re excited for the festival.”
