Those who did were certainly treated to a feast for the eyes.
From ‘60’s getups to little green men with a hot air balloon, the parade had it all.
While there was hardly a frown to be seen, there were a few attractions in particular that had people gleaming from ear to ear.
The duo of kangaroos, hoping down the avenue had parents applauding and kids adoring.
The string of hot air balloons certainly lived up to their name and there was one piece of ingenuity that caught some attention.
Stephen Targett and Debbie McLean put their heads together and built a tandem bicycle that looked like it was ready to take off.
